BACKGROUND: On May 1, 2008 a change was deployed in the ACE Truck Manifest system to correct an issue involving FAST Commercial Driver Licenses (CDL). Updates for expired FAST CDLs will now update inactive CDL records in ACE.

Instructions / Process:

* When trade users create a manifest utilizing a FAST Driver, ACE is receiving this information as supplied by FAST. If the CDL expiration date is not updated, trade users receive an error message when attempting to submit the manifest.

* Trade users can not update FAST Driver information in ACE. Updates to driver information must be made through FAST. FAST Drivers must notify FAST whenever their CDL is renewed. This information can be updated in person at any FAST Enrollment Center. You can expect these updates in ACE within 24 hours of the time the Driver updates are received by the FAST Enrollment Center.

* If the Driver has updated the CDL information at a FAST Enrollment Center and ACE does not acknowledge the updated records, please request a trouble ticket by calling the ACE Help Desk at 1-800-927-8729 option 4, option 2, option 2.
