In the near future, U.S. Customs and Border Protection will be introducing ad hoc reporting capabilities as an enhancement to ACE reports. Enhancements will occur in two phases.

Phase 1 will provide edit capabilities to all trade users and will include Account Revenue, Account Profile and Broker Permits and Employees reports. This edit capability will allow the user to further customize a standard report by selecting additional data elements not currently available in the report. Please note once Phase 1 has been implemented, users will no longer be able to use “Available Objects” to customize reports but will use the new “Edit Query” capability. Users will also need Java version 1.4.2 or 1.5 installed on their computer.

Phase 2 will allow selected trade users to design their own ad hoc reports. This phase will also include Account Management and Transactions reports.

Telephone training on the new edit capabilities will be available to importer and broker ACE Accounts who participate in Periodic Monthly Statement and run the Account Revenue reports. Registration information for Phase 1 telephone training is forthcoming. A separate training registration notice will be distributed for Phase 2 reports.
