Title:Automated Commercial Environment Reports Enhancement Telephone Training Now Available

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has just deployed ad hoc reporting capabilities as an enhancement to ACE reports.

Telephone training on the new edit capabilities for Phase 1 will be available to importer and broker ACE Accounts who participate in Periodic Monthly Statement and run the Account Revenue reports. Training will be held June 4th- June 13th on a first come, first serve basis. Please go to: http://cbp.gov/xp/cgov/trade/automated/modernization/whats_new/
complete the registration form and submit by email. Registration is required. Only 2 phone lines per company per training session will be permitted. If you have trouble accessing or submitting the registration form, please send an email to aceaccountsupport@cbp.dhs.gov

Java Requirement:
Beginning in Phase 1, users will need one of the three appropriate versions of Java loaded to run ACE Reports. The versions are

• Java 1.4.2
• Java 1.5
• Java 6

CBP recommends using version 1.4.2 or 1.5 of Java to run ad hoc reports.

PLEASE CONSULT YOUR COMPANY SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR PRIOR TO MAKING ANY CHANGES TO YOUR JAVA APPLICATION.
