Please be advised that trade testing of the Multi-Modal Manifest release M1 will begin no sooner that September 2008.
It should be noted that the testing will be done using the current data formats – Ocean Manifest is CAMIR (Amendment 13) or ANSI X-12 (version 4010) and for rail manifest only the ANSI X12 (version 4040 ++) format.
CBP will be moving to ANSI X-12 Version 5040 at a future date after the initial implementation of M1 in the ACE Production.
