The previous message, 09-000028, regarding this issue was incomplete. The complete message is as follows-
FDA has added several new product codes for various Imported Dietary Supplements and Botanical Products. These codes should be used in place of a code ending with "99 - Not Elsewhere Classified" when transmitting information on the products listed below. Some are included in Industry 50 - Color Additives, Class L - Colors Exempt From Certification For Food Use and the others are included in Industry 54 - Vitamins/Minerals/Proteins/Unconventional Dietary Supplements, Class F (Herbal and Botanical (not Teas).
