Carrier Portal Changes for ESAR A2.1 and M1
Effective January 24, 2009, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will be deploying enhanced ACE capabilities within the A2.1 release. The A2.1 release will lay the groundwork for the future Ocean and Rail Manifest release (M1)currently scheduled for the spring of 2009. The information notice attached covers changes on how carriers will view data on continuous bonds, and provides information on new in-bond authorization and ocean conveyance capabilities.
