Sea and Rail Carriers, NOW is the time to establish your FREE ACE Secure Data Portal account!
The benefits of having an ACE Portal Account are:
1. Verify that your continuous bond information is properly on file with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)
2. Verify that your conveyance information is properly on file with CBP
3. Create and maintain conveyance information starting spring of 2009
4. Produce Near Real Time (NRT) Bill of Lading status report as of spring of 2009
5. Create your own reports from your manifest data as of spring of 2009
6. Access United Nations Location Codes, U.S. Port codes, Country Codes and other reference files
7. Establish Continuous Bond User Verification records (Bond Authorization) to protect the use of your bonds
Establish your account now and beat the spring rush. Telephone training will be made available starting in February 2009 for any carrier that has already established their ACE Portal Account.
Training will be free and will include learning how to navigate your Portal Account to see your active continuous bonds, create reports, access reference data, maintain conveyances and protect your continuous bonds from being used by unauthorized parties.
