Subject: Changes to the 2009 Harmonized Tariff Schedule
The changes recently completed include:
1. Modifications made as a result of the 484(f) Committee, the Committee for Statistical Annotation of Tariff Schedules. These changes are effective on July 1, 2009.
2. Changes were also made as required by the verification of the 2009 Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS). We will continue to verify the 2009 HTS for the remainder of the year.
3. The updated records are currently available to all ABI participants and can be retrieved electronically via the procedures indicated in the CATAIR. Please direct any questions regarding the ABI retrieval process to your client representative.
