Title:ISF Error Code Modifications and BAPLIE response

CSMS #09-000325 describes a number of changes becoming effective on November 14, 2009. The changes have been posted on a new webpage titled 'Pending Transaction Sets', which can be found on a link from the 'Security Filing Transaction Sets' page. Additional changes will become effective mid-December, which are outlined below, but are included in the same documentation.

>>SF90 Record changes in CATAIR and CAMIR:

1. Two additional Message Type Codes have been added to simplify the SF90 output messages.
a) Codes 01, 02, and 03 will become message level codes only.
i) Code 01 = the ISF is rejected
ii) Code 02 = the ISF is accepted
iii) Code 03 = the ISF is accepted with warning(s)
b) Codes 11 and 13 will be record level codes only.
i) Code 11 = the specific record is rejected
ii) Code 13 = the specific record is accepted with a warning

2. Message Type Code will now be a Mandatory field. Data will always be returned here to interpret why the SF90 record is being returned to the filer.

3. Narrative Message Code Identifier has been changed to Error Code and has become a Conditional field. This field will only be populated when record-level SF90 records are returned. It will identify the error code relating to a specific error within a line.

>>ISF Error Code List:

1. The error codes have been published on the 'Pending Transaction Sets' webpage to help determine the reason why rejects are occurring in an ISF transaction. The codes will eventually be incorporated into the appropriate documentation.

2. The error code descriptions have been modified to more clearly reflect what error has occurred within and ISF transaction.

3. The error codes identifiers have been changed for CAMIR and X12. The Error Code List includes the old error code, the new error code, and the appropriate description relating to that error.

>>CUSRES:

1. The CUSRES document is being published as a response to the BAPLIE stow plan.
