SUBJECT: Changes To Industry 57 – Biological Products Product Codes
The Food And Drug Administration has updated their product codes for Industry 57 - Biological Products. The new and revised codes are available now from ACS and should be used immediately. Other product codes will be end-dated effective 11/30/2009, and the use of those codes after that date will result in a data transmission error.
FDA's Center for Biologics Evaluation & Research (CBER) is in the process of creating a searchable list of their product codes. The URL will be provided to filers once it is available.
