Attn: ABI Entry Summary Filers

On Sunday, February 14, 2010, CBP completed the successful deployment of ACE Entry Summary, Accounts and Revenue (ESAR III) capabilities relating to the filing and processing of AD/CVD entries and Case Management.

Entry Summary Types 01, 11, and 03 can now be filed in ACE.

If you are an ABI Entry Summary filer that is currently operational for entry summaries filed in ACS AND you are using a software package from a vendor who has completed ACE Certification testing, you are not required to test your software again in ACE CERT.

Any filer NEW to ABI will need to be tested in ACE and NO filer will be allowed to file in ACE unless they are using a tested software package.

In addition, there seems to be some confusion amongst the trade as to whether ALL filers can now file in ACE. This may be a result of the initial ACE Entry Summary deployment when CBP was only accepting those “early adopters” who responded to the A2.2 FRN.

ACE IS NOW OPEN TO ALL FILERS AT ALL PORTS WITH THE PROPERLY TESTED SOFTWARE.

Please contact your client representative for information on how to get started filing ACE Entry Summaries.
