Title:ISF Bond Edits Switched Back On
Date:2010-02-25

On February 16, 2010, CSMS #10-000046 was issued notifying trade participants of bond related edits that were turned off because they were incorrectly sending warnings to ISF filers.

As of yesterday morning, these edits have been turned back on and they are responding properly to most ISF transactions. There are a few warnings that continue to be sent inadvertently, but corrections will be made to CBP programming within 1-2 weeks. Meanwhile, if you determine that you have received one of these warnings in error, please do NOT resubmit your transaction as you will again receive the same warning. If you find that the warning has been issued properly, please correct the error and resubmit your transaction, as necessary. You will be notified again when additional changes have been made. The warnings and their descriptions are listed below.

ABI:
144 CONTINUOUS BOND NOT ON FILE
145 CONTINUOUS BOND NOT ACTIVE
146 BOND HOLDER NOT ACTIVE
147 CONTINUOUS BOND IS INSUFFICIENT

AMS:
SA7 CONT BOND NOT ON FILE
SA8 CONT BOND NOT ACTIVE
SA9 BOND HOLDER NOT ACTIVE
SAA CONT BOND IS INSUFFICIENT

Additionally, as described in CSMS #10-000038, the CUSRES response to BAPLIE submissions has been turned on in the Production environment.

If you have any questions, please contact your assigned Client Representative or call 571-468-5500 for information.
