Subject: New FDA Product Codes
FDA has added two new product codes at the request of their Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER). If you are transmitting entry information for the product(s) described below, please begin using these new codes immediately.
The new codes for these products have required FDA to add a new product code class of "W" for Industry 57. The new class of products is for Immunomodulators. This class contains two specific products; 01 Whipworms, and 02 Hookworms.

Please begin using these new codes immediately where appropriate to identify the product being submitted for entry, using currently existing conventions for building a product code for CBER regulated products.
