Title:Cargo Certification Required on ALL ACE RLF/EIP Entry Summaries

ACE entry summary filing under application code AE requires cargo certification when the entry is first transmitted if Remote Location Filing will be requested by the filer. ACE also requires the cargo certification on every subsequent transmission of the RLF entry number.

Filers who receive an acknowledgement of a successfully filed RLF entry summary will receive ABI output message code HD, which will contain the cargo release status of the entry. The normal status messages are "data added as requested" along with "cargo release data certified."

If a filer sends one or more subsequent ACE AE transactions, certified for cargo release as required, the HD messages for these transactions will contain the message "customs rel via erel on file", "selectivity already performed", and "transaction data rejected." In such a scenario, the rejection message will not erase or otherwise remove the previously generated cargo selectivity status ('electronic invoice required', 'pending customs review', or 'paperless').

Filers should ignore the 'transaction data rejected' portion of the HD message when it is accompanied by the two additional messages described above.
