Amendment 47 to the ABI CATAIR, dated February 2010, added an additional indicator to the Q2-record of the Preliminary and Final Statement transmissions. That code is a ‘Y’ in position 76 of the Q2-record to identify the entry summary as an ACE (AE) filed summary.
Software vendors should add the ACE Indicator to the printed version of the statement by using an A (for ACE) in the Status (ST) column. At this time, the instructions show a CE for Census Warning and a PA for Paperless Summary and an R for Paper Now Required. Please add the A for ACE to this list.
