Please direct this communication to your IT support personnel to ascertain which of the two following communications pertains to your current network connectivity solution:
Trade partners that participate in the CBP Trade VPN Program and use MQ Client to communicate to CBP via Internet VPN (dynamic VPN client) - please note that CBP will be migrating Trade Systems VPN endpoints to its new DHS Data Center's VPN Gateways. This change will take place on September 21, 2010 at 12:00 midnight, EST and will be transparent to Trade Partners, but should a Trade Partner experience an inability to connect after this date/time, please contact DHS/CBP at 1-877-347-1638 option 1.
Trade Partners that participate in the CBP Trade VPN Program and use MQ Server to communicate to CBP via Internet/MPLS VPN, please note that CBP will begin scheduling the migration of your VPN link to the new DHS Data Center's VPN Gateways, beginning September 21. This mandatory migration will enhance availability/uptime and position your company to be ready in case of unforeseen outages. Please send your Company name, technical POC name, email address and phone number to TICMigration@cbp.dhs.gov for more details and to be scheduled for this migration.
