This message is in regards to CSMS# 10-000081-FTZ Concurrence Transactions and Air Waybills.
FTZ filers have an option of submitting concurrences for their e214 through the FZ process either at the Container, In-bond, Bill of Lading or Admission level depending on the software package they are using. For software packages that do not provide all four levels of concurrences for admissions associated to AIR WAYBILLS, CBP has put in a temporary fix for the Admission level Concurrence for air shipments.
This temporary fix will process and generate a 1C posting for the carrier of the air waybills that did not receive a 1C when an admission level concurrence is done through the electronic FTZ system.
For FTZ filers that have the software capabilities that provide all four levels of concurrence, CBP encourages filers to continue to process their admissions as they have done in the past to ensure the generated release message of a 1C to the carrier to prevent air cargo from being reported as eligible for General Order (G.O.)
