In July, 2010, the FDA reported intermittent issues affecting ACS messaging and paper notice generation. At the time, the FDA increased the amount of time given to respond to FDA detention notices. The messaging issues have been resolved.
The amount of time given for response to an FDA detention notice will return to ten days following the date of detention shown on the notice (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays). The change back to normal timeframes will take effect November 15, 2010.
