Although the code will be deployed on August 20th, CBP will continue to evaluate the code in production. There will be no operational use of the new system until it is deemed fully operational and stable. At that time, CBP will notify trade partners that have completed their certification and testing that they can begin transmitting to ACE. New ACE capabilities will be available to the trade in a phased approach as listed below:

New ACE capabilities that will be available on August 21, 2011 include:

· the ability for carriers to view continuous bonds in their ACE Portal account

· the ability for brokers to begin creating rail entry banks

· the ability to save customized reports to the Shared Reports Folder

New ACE capabilities that will be available on August 29, 2011 include:

· the ability for carriers to view and verify ocean conveyances in their ACE Portal account

· the ability for carriers to begin creating a list of authorized bond users
