The ACE M1 system(Ocean and Rail Manifest) experienced a backlog of messages beginning at 1115 EST today that caused trade notifications and message processing to slow down dramatically. The underlying reason for the backlog was alleviated around 1530 EST today. The estimated time to work through the backlog is up to 2 hours.
Normal processing times should be restored by 1730 EST.
