The six month transition is in progress for ACE e-Manifest: Rail and Sea. Effective September 29, 2012, ACE will be the only approved EDI for transmitting required advance rail and sea cargo information and ABI in-bond transactions to CBP. In order to inform the trade of the status of the ACE M1 deployment and to alert the trade of the need to complete certification testing and make the move to ACE Production, CBP conducted Webinars on June 13 and 14.

The June 14th Webinar has been posted on cpb.gov, at the following links:

During the Webinars trade members asked if CBP could disclose the names of the trade participants. The Federal Register Notice published October 10, 2010 provides the following guidance when requesting the names of trade participants: “Participation in this or any of the previous ACE tests is not confidential and upon a written Freedom of Information Act request, a name(s) of an approved participant(s) will be disclosed by CBP in accordance with 5 U.S.C. 552.”
