Parties in ACE will note that the “2Z” - Master/House Container Mis-Match disposition code has been enhanced to include remarks in the status notification output (350/RC) from CBP. The new remarks will identify if the “2Z” is generated because the “HOUSE BILL IS NOT FILE” or the “MASTER BILL IS NOT FILE” as a result of the bill not yet being added or perhaps deleted. A “2Z” without remarks would identify that a true container mis-match in the equipment number supplied between the Master and House bill issuer is present.
NOTE: Each delete of a bill will generate a 2Z (when applicable) and trade partners should use the 2Z message to identify if this is an actual mismatch or the result of a bill delete and re-add.
