Please NOTE: ACE_PR_47778 - Reject data from Trade (EDI) that includes invalid characters - was deployed to ACE CERT on October 24, 2012. This PR IS being deployed to ACE Production but is NOT being enabled on November 3, 2012.
CBP would like to enable this change in ACE Production in the near future but want an opportunity to hear from you. Your feedback will help us to determine when to enable this functionality.
CBP encourages the trade to rigorously test all messages that might contain any characters except those named in CSMS Message #12-000407 in the ACE Certification environment and provide feedback through your Client Representative regarding the impact this change has on your business by Friday, November 16, 2012.
We are looking for any ocean and rail manifest transactions AND ABI In-Bond transactions for ocean, rail, and truck.
