U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will host the annual East Coast Trade Symposium scheduled on November 27-28, 2012. Registration is still open; however, it will close at 5:00 p.m. (EST) on Monday, November 19, 2012. This event will include two days of general and breakout sessions and important CBP Announcements.
Registration for onsite participation must be made online at the CBP website at https://apps.cbp.gov/tradesymposium/?w=14 Onsite registration will be available for a fee of $252.00.
Webcast registration must be made online at the CBP website at https://apps.cbp.gov/tradesymposium/?w=15. Webcast access will be available for a fee of $55.00.
The CBP East Coast Trade Symposium will be held at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, MD. It will feature panel discussions involving agency personnel, members of the trade community, and other government agencies on the agency's role in international trade initiatives and programs.
Panels will cover a variety of topics such as Global Supply Chain Security, Beyond the Border Initiatives, Centers for Excellence and Expertise, the Role of the Broker, ACE and Trusted Trader Programs.
This year marks the 12-year anniversary of the CBP East Coast Trade Symposium. The theme this year is Expanding 21st Century Global Partnerships.
