Due to the inclement weather conditions caused by Hurricane Sandy, “snow days” are being granted to all who file entries at the Ports of JFK and New York/Newark for the entire week beginning October 29, 2012 and ending November 2, 2012.
As a result of this situation, CBP is extending additional days without penalty for any late filed entry summaries and payments of duties that were due on Monday, October 29, 2012 through Friday, November 2, 2012 in the Ports of JFK and New York/Newark.
