CBP will conduct a webinar on the upcoming pilots of the PGA Message Set on Wednesday, March 20th from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm EST. The PGA Message Set is the harmonized set of data that will be collected electronically from the trade community by CBP, through ACE, on behalf of the PGAs. The initiation of the upcoming pilots is a significant step toward delivery of the Single Window.

In the March 20 webinar, CBP will present an overview of the pilots as part of the ACE Agile development effort. While this webinar is not intended to cover how the pilots will be deployed, the webinar will cover available information on how the pilots will operate. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will discuss the specifics of their pilot using the PGA Message Set data elements for ozone-depleting substances, and vehicles and engines. The Food Safety Inspection Service (FSIS) will discuss the specifics of their pilot using the PGA Message Set for products covered by the Import Inspection Application, the FSIS Form 9540-1.
