The Advisory Committee on the Commercial Operations of Customs and Border Protection (COAC) is embarking on a benchmarking survey to measure the state of readiness of ACE software developers. The COAC 2013 Survey will capture information on current and planned future ACE software releases. The results of this survey will be used in preparation of the upcoming software developers conference this May which will be hosted by NCBFAA.

Recognizing that information resides in many different arenas, software developers are asked to respond to this survey, which only takes about 15 minutes to complete. You are asked to respond on behalf of your collective, averaged customer base on any given question. Feedback is important, since it is recognized that cost and efficiency details are better reported by those entities with direct knowledge of the facts.

The COAC Committee is asking for responses by Wednesday, April 17 in order to analyze results and make recommendations to CBP prior to the conference. Keep in mind, the survey is anonymous and the results are stored in a secure web-based survey tool.

The survey can be accessed by clicking on the below link. The COAC Committee wishes to achieve feedback from the widest possible audience in order to get the most comprehensive input. If you have any questions, please contact Chip Bown at chip_bown@ftn.fedex.com.
