The Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (COAC) is releasing this survey in order to collect the voice of all entities involved in the export process.

The COAC 2013 Export Survey will capture your feedback regarding current export operations along with root cause of impacts to your customers or supply chain. While the survey includes feedback related to several agencies, since this is a COAC survey, the primary agency of focus will be U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Information gathered in this survey will be anonymous and will be used to ensure recommendations are the most beneficial to the trade community.

This initial survey is intended to obtain feedback from Exporters. Recognizing that information resides in many different areas, COAC will issue a separate survey to collect information from the service providers. Feedback is important, since it is recognized that cost and efficiency details are better reported by those entities with direct knowledge of the facts.

The survey consists of multiple choice questions that request information on a number of issues, including exam rates, estimated cost of doing business, time expenditures, satisfaction level with CBP, and takes only 30 minutes or less to complete. Results will be shared in future COAC meetings.

The COAC Committee is asking for responses by Friday, April 19 in order to analyze results. The survey can be accessed by clicking on the below link: http://www.surveyshare.com/s/AQAEP3A
