To ABI Trade Participants
On Friday May 10, 2013 CBP began experiencing issues processing some transactions for the application identifier ‘PN’ (Periodic Daily Statement ACH Debit Authorization / Entry Summary Presentation).
The problem only involved ‘PN’ transactions that were attempting to assign a new May Periodic Monthly Statement (PMS) number beginning with the digits ‘27’ (district 27).
Since Tuesday, May 14 is the last day to send a ‘PN’ transaction for a May PMS, most of the issues which caused the delay in accepting PN transactions have already occurred. There should be no additional issues with this specific problem.
We believe we have identified the correction needed and are making plans for an implementation. We will notify you once our actions are finalized. Please work with your Client Representative if you have any related issues or questions.
