Attn: Ocean, Rail, and Truck Manifest Software Developers

REMINDER: On Wednesday, July 31, 2013, CBP will have the scheduled weekly outage to ACE Certification from 0600 EDT - 01800 EDT. Should the outage end earlier than anticipated, you will be advised via CSMS Message.

Please Note: ACE Certification is the testing environment used by trade software developers. If you are not developing or testing software, this outage does not apply to you.

ACE Production will not be impacted.

Below are the fixes that impact the ocean, rail and truck trade community:

ACE_PR_48171– ACE incorrectly rejects Rail BOL amendments of Transit In-Bonds after Import Consist. This fix addresses the problem where condition 'P01/P4 PORT CANT = IB DEST' is incorrectly generated in the response to a BOL Amendment X.12 309 Y transaction.

ACE_PR_48225 - ACE should reject CAMIR transactions incorrectly containing an asterisk(s)in the input data. This fix will properly reject CAMIR input transactions (MI, AI, HI, II, and TI) that fail because of the inclusion on an '*' (asterisk) in the data stream in a non-delimiter use.

ACE_PR_48478 - X12 BOL Download fails when BOLs contain volume exceeding 8 digits. This fix addresses the problem where an X12 transaction with more than eight digits in the M1107 segment is incorrectly rejected with a syntax error.

ACE_PR_48662 - ACE will not properly reject CAMIR transactions containing “new line” in input data. This fix addresses the problem where CAMIR input transactions (e.g., MI, AI, HI, II, TI) that contain a "newline" character in the input data are incorrectly accepted.

ACE_PR_48682 - Consist processing is currently incorrectly overwriting the SNP indicator on the BOL participant from ‘Y’ to ‘N’. This fix corrects the problem where a carrier does not receive a notification even though the carrier self-nominated itself as a Secondary Notify Party (SNP).
