Attn: Ocean, Rail, and Truck Manifest Software Developers

REMINDER: On Wednesday, September 25, 2013, CBP will have the scheduled weekly outage to ACE Certification from 0600 EDT – 1800 EDT. Should the outage end earlier than anticipated, you will be advised via CSMS Message.

Please Note: ACE Certification is the testing environment used by trade software developers. If you are not developing or testing software, this outage does not apply to you.

ACE Production will not be impacted.

Below are the fixes that impact the ocean, rail and truck trade community:

ACE_IR_866 – UNLOC codes being updated in ACE PROD & ACE CERT to fix the problem where a carrier's input message is failing when a referenced UNLOC code is not recognized in ACE, but is a valid UN LOC Code per the UN Web site.

ACE_PR_48735 – This will correct a problem so that ACE will no longer send future release dates with time of "0000" in RC/350 notifications to carriers.

ACE_PR_48836 – Currently, ACE rejects a valid Update EDA message from Trade with “Invalid Vessel Name” error code. This will fix the problem so that the HI manifest message will no longer be incorrectly rejected with an 'Invalid Conveyance Name' (152) condition.

ACE_PR_48842 – In certain case, In-bonds with subsequent legs are being re-opened incorrectly. This PR will correct the problem where an in-bond is incorrectly being 're-opened' in a scenario where, after being set to 'Fully Closed', a subsequent 62 or 63 in-bond is 'cancelled'.
