Title:Business Objects Fix Deployed this Weekend

In addition to the regularly scheduled deployment this weekend, ACE deployed a fix for Business Objects related to issues resulting from the Internet Explorer's Compatibility View Setting. Users will be able to access ACE Reports through the ACE Portal with Compatibility View set to “On” with no issue related to compatibility. This will alleviate the known issue of having to switch the Compatibility View setting to “On” for accessing certain internet based applications; and switching the Compatibility View setting to “Off” for accessing ACE Reports. Please ensure your Internet Explorer Compatibility View setting is set to “On” to ensure you are able to access all your applications seamlessly.

It has been reported that some users have also experienced slow processing due to the “Rich Internet Application” setting being on in “View” mode for reports. If this is encountered, the recommended course of action is to switch the setting from “Rich Internet Application” to “Web” for faster processing of reports in “View” mode.
