On January 4, 2014, CBP successfully deployed ACE Deployment B, the second deployment of new and enhanced ACE functionality developed using the Agile development methodology. With Deployment B, the following ACE capabilities were added:

•ACE Cargo Release

− ACE Cargo Release pilot expansion with foundational capabilities added to support ocean and rail manifest shipments
− In-bond processing for partial quantity transactions to begin with air shipments
− ACE Cargo Release data build-out that extend the Customs and Trade Automated Interface Requirements (CATAIR) to specify required data elements, syntax and format to enable the build-out of additional entry transactions

•ACE Entry Summary

− ACE Entry Summary Validations for simple duty calculations on single Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification entry lines

•Partner Government Agency (PGA) Integration

− Expansion of PG00 record to reduce data duplication by trade filers
− A single Accept/Reject message to filers for cargo release responses from CBP and PGAs

All the capabilities were successfully implemented and are performing as expected.
