The Cargo and Conveyance Security Division is notifying the Trade, regarding the usage of yellow High Security Bolt Seals. The vendor had a delay in manufacturing CBP stamped seals; however, this issue has been resolved and all future orders will be filled with CBP stamped seals.
The High Security Bolt Seal is numerically sequenced, but does not contain the word “CBP” to indicate that the seal is issued by CBP. Please review the attached photograph, which is an example of the seals that were shipped to the Laredo and Buffalo Field Offices.
A Memo has been issued to all CBP Field Offices.
