U.S. Customs and Border Protection to Host Trade Fair on Wednesday, July 9, 2014

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Seattle Field Office and the CBP Area Ports of Seattle and Blaine will host a Trade Fair on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Federal Center South, 4735 East Marginal Way S, Seattle, Washington. The agency booths will be open from 9:00 a.m. to noon, with agency presentations offered from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There is no fee to attend this event, and trade participants may come and go at any time.

Several government agencies will participate in the Trade Fair, which will provide stakeholders the opportunity to speak one-on-one with representatives from U.S. and Canadian agencies that regulate imports and exports. Agencies that will be participating in the Trade Fair are:

10:30 a.m. “Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Update” presented by CBP Seattle Area Port

11:15 a.m “Export Finance: How to Get Paid and How to Finance a Sale” presented by Export Finance Assistance Center of Washington

12:30 p.m. “Working Together to Prevent Harmful Pest Introductions: Case Study - Wood-boring Pests” presented by CBP, Blaine and Seattle Area Ports and USDA-APHIS-PPQ, Seattle Plant Inspection Station

1:30 p.m. “Importer Security Filing Update” presented by CBP Headquarters, Office of Field Operations

2:00 p.m. “The CEE Change: Where we are, Where we're going, How we'll get there” presented by CBP Headquarters, Office of International Trade and Office of Field Operations

Federal Center South
4735 East Marginal Way S, Seattle, WA
The main building entrance is located at the north end of the building.
Trade Fair will be held in the Galaxy Room, on the first floor to the right past the security checkpoint.
Presentations will be held in the Mercury Room in the morning and the Galaxy Room in the afternoon. The Mercury Room is located on the first floor just past the cafeteria to the left.

Parking:
Parking is located in a chain link fenced area directly across East Marginal Way S from Federal Center South. Cross East Marginal Way S at the light from the parking lot to the main entrance of the building. Parking is free. Please do not park in the small lot next to the building.

Building Security:
This is a federal building and everyone must process through the security checkpoint. Please ensure you have a government issued photo identification.

Northbound
Head Northbound on I-5
Take Exit #156/WA-599 N/Tukwila/W. Marginal Way onto WA-599 N
Take left ramp onto 1st Ave Bridge S (WA-509 N, WA-99 N) toward Seattle
Turn left onto East Marginal Way S
Turn right onto S Hudson St
Turn left onto Ohio Ave S, the parking lot entrance will be immediately on your left
Cross East Marginal Way S
The main entrance is located at the north end of the building

Southbound
Head Southbound on I-5
Stay to the right
Take Exit #162/Corson Ave S
Turn right onto S Michigan St
Turn right onto East Marginal Way S
Turn right onto S Hudson St
Turn left onto Ohio Ave S, the parking lot entrance will be immediately on your left
Cross East Marginal Way S
The main entrance is located at the north end of the building
