CBP is pleased to announce an “ACE Export Manifest” webinar on August 26, 2014, from 1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M EDT.
The focus of this webinar is to introduce new functionality being developed for filing electronic export manifest data to CBP via ACE. CBP is developing automated export manifest functionality for all modes of transportation: Air, Rail, Ocean, and Truck. These export manifest developments will be rolled out as pilots over the next year pending publication of final regulation changes removing paper filing as an option and allowing for electronic filing. The webinar will also address the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) message sets that can be used to transmit the manifest data.
Air export manifest is currently being coded for a tentative fall 2014 pilot, with rail and ocean pilots tentatively scheduled for early 2015.
