Subject: Centralized Examination Station (CES) Solicitation for the Port of Houston/Galveston (Seaport).

The selection process for a Centralized Examination Station (CES) in the Port of Houston, Texas is now open to solicit applicants.

This solicitation is for applicants within the jurisdiction of the Port of Houston/Galveston in the State of Texas. The length of the CES Operating Agreement will be no less than 3 and no more than 5 years from the date of the signed CES Agreement.

The Port Director has determined 2-3 facilities are required in the jurisdiction to best meet the examination requirements of Customs and Border Protection (CBP), facilitate the movement of cargo in the port, and provide competitive service to the trade community.
