Update: Information about Air AMS testing in the ACE Certification Environment was added to the notice.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will transition legacy Air Manifest System (AMS) functions into the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) with the January 2015 release of ACE Deployment D capabilities. Additionally, the ACE Air Manifest System will be enhanced to include the following changes:
• Increased validation of submitted data, to ensure compliance with established standardized requirements; and
• New system validations providing more descriptive language for error codes
