The new CQ/C1 ACE CARGO/MANIFEST/ENTRY Status Query has been deployed to certification and production.

Trade testing of the new CQ/C1 ACE Cargo/Manifest/Entry Status query has revealed four common response messages that need clarification for the trade as well as one correction to the ACE CATAIR Chapter that should be noted:

1. Airway Bills are not supported at this time and will return the message “122BILL NBR NOT ON FILE” when queried. This will change early next year as AIR manifest is transitioned into the legacy ACE M1 system. Until airway bills begin processing in ACE please use the legacy IN query.

2. ACS entries are not supported by the new query and will return “950ENTRY RECORD NOT FOUND” when queried via CQ message. Until the CQ query is modified to support legacy ACS filed entries please us the legacy IN query.

3. ACE Cargo Release (SE) entries that are older than 03/16/2014 are not supported and will receive “950ENTRY RECORD NOT FOUND” when queried. This is due to an initial limitation when the new data file for SO messages was created.

4. The new CQ query uses the ESAR validations/rules for formatting the header and trailer records (AB – YZ). Please use the ACE CATAIR ABI Batch and Block Control chapter for specific requirements.

5. New ACE CATAIR Chapter page ACMQ-16 contains an error which will be corrected in a future update. The Filler data element in positions 16-29 has an incorrect Length/Class identification. Please change 15 AN to the correct value of 14 AN.
