Due to the implementation of the ACE eBond system which will be effective January 3, 2015, CBP will be required to establish a cut-off time for submissions of new continuous bonds to be processed in ACE.
Any new continuous bond requests received by CBP after December 29, 2014 may not be processed at the earliest until January 5, 2015 in accordance with the Bond Team 5 day processing standard timeline.
Due to the system changeover to eBond, CBP will be unable to process any new continuous bonds on January 2, 2015. Please plan any new continuous bond submissions accordingly.
The Bond Team will attempt to process all continuous bonds submitted prior to January 2, 2015. In the event they do not get processed by January 2, 2015, they will be input January 5, 2015 or later.
