****Please Note: Registration for the March 3-4 Software Developer Session will close on Thursday, February 26th at 11:30 P.M. ET. Per U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulations, on-site registration will not be available.****

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will be conducting a Software Developer (Technical) Session to present upcoming programming changes for new ACE functionality scheduled to be delivered as part of the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE). The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday/Wednesday, March 3-4, 2015 at the USDA Jefferson Auditorium, Washington, D.C. Please reference the attached announcement and agenda for more detailed information.

Topics for the session will include operational and technical changes related to the:

• May 1, 2015 deployment for the mandatory use of ACE for all electronic manifest filings – All electronic export and import manifest data must be filed in ACE.

• November 1, 2015 deployment for the mandatory use of ACE for all electronic cargo release and associated entry summary filings - All electronic data associated with the release of cargo including PGA interactions, and their associated entry summaries, must be filed in ACE.

• The sessions will focus on Entry Summary Accounts and Revenue (ESAR) capabilities, Cargo Release, including the PGA Message Set, and Export Manifest Processing.

• The following PGAs are scheduled to present information on the status of their PGA Message Sets and ACE integration status: 1) National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA); 2) Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); 3) Food Safety Inspection Service (FSIS); 4) Food & Drug Administration (FDA); 5) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS); 6) Animal & Plant Health Inspection Service(APHIS)/Lacey Act; and 7) National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS).
