Harmonized System Update (HSU) 1501 was created on February 3, 2015 and contains 54 ABI records and 244 harmonized tariff records.
Modifications made include those mandated by Presidential Proclamation 9223, To Take Certain Actions Under the African Growth and Opportunity Act and for Other Purposes. The Proclamation can be found in the Federal Register, Vol. 79, No. 249, dated December 30, 2014.
Changes also included those mandated by the USDA’s, Agricultural Marketing Service regarding the honey assessment. The proposed changes were published in the Federal Register, Vol. 79, No. 222, dated November 18, 2014.
Adjustments required by the verification of the 2015 Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) are also included.
