U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has rescheduled the March 4th session of the Software Developer (Technical) Session to present upcoming programming changes for new Partner Government Agency (PGA) ACE functionality scheduled to be delivered as part of the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE). The meeting is scheduled for Friday, March 27, 2015, at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Jefferson Auditorium.
Topics for the session will include operational and technical changes related to the:
• November 1, 2015 deployment for the mandatory use of ACE for all electronic cargo release and associated entry summary filings - All electronic data associated with the release of cargo including PGA interactions, and their associated entry summaries, must be filed in ACE.
• The following PGAs are scheduled to present information on the status of their PGA Message Sets and ACE integration status: 1) National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA); 2) Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); 3) Food Safety Inspection Service (FSIS); 4) Food & Drug Administration (FDA); 5) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS); 6) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS)/Lacey Act; and 7) National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) and 8) Consumer Product Safety Commission.
