Attention All ACE Filers:
The following document was updated and posted to the “Chapters” tab of the “Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Automated Broker Interface (ABI) and CBP and Trade Automated Interface Requirements (CATAIR)” page of CBP.gov.
The ACE ABI CATAIR In-bond Chapter was updated on February 11, 2015. This chapter provides record formats pertaining to ACE e-Manifest: Air, Sea, Rail and ACE Truck In-bond bill of lading input and output records, In-bond update/transfer of liability input and output records, and status notification records.
Please note that changes to the QP/WP transaction records for Air are available for trade testing in the certification environment, and that Bio-Terrorism/Food and Drug Administration (FDA) data is only for use in the Automated Commercial System (ACS).
The ABI air In-bond processing changes documented in this chapter will be in effect in May 2015, when air manifest functionality is transitioned off of Air Automated Manifest System (AMS) and into ACE. Until May 2015, all air In-bond processing should follow the QX/WX ABI processing documented in the Air In-bond chapter.
