Title:Air Outage Window Schedule and User Support - June 6-7, 2015

On June 6, 2015, the Air Automated Manifest System (AMS) will be brought offline and on June 7, 2015, the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) will become the system of record for Air Manifests. The outage window and support procedures for this transition are detailed below.

AIR AMS AND ACS OUTAGE WINDOW BEGINNING 3:00 PM EST, SATURDAY, JUNE 6, 2015

Air Manifest: Air AMS will go offline at 3:00 PM EST, Saturday, June 6th and Air Manifests will be brought online in ACE by 5:00 AM EST, Sunday, June 7th.

ACS Entry/Entry Summary: ACS will go offline at 3:00 PM EST, Saturday, June 6th and will be brought back online no later than 5:00 PM EST, Saturday, June 6th.
During the June 6, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM outage window, CBP will not process FTZ Admissions/e214s (All FZ and FT APP ID’s) or FDA Prior Notice WP transactions.

Air Inbond Transactions: Filers should not send QX/WX ABI inbond transactions after 3:00 PM EST, Saturday, June 6th. After 3:00 PM June 6th, filers should wait until 5:00 AM EST, Sunday, June 7th to submit air inbond ABI requests via the new QP/WP transaction.

Air Manifest Query: Filers should stop using the ABI IN transaction to query airway bills as of 3:00 PM EST, Saturday, June 6th. Filers should use the ACE ABI CQ Query starting at 5:00 AM EST, Sunday, June 7th.

All messages transmitted after Saturday, June 6th at 3:00 PM EST will be held and processed once that component of the system is brought back online.

ACE OUTAGE WINDOW BEGINNING 7:00 PM, SATURDAY, JUNE 6, 2015

ACE Ocean, Rail, Truck Manifest and ACE Entry Summary: ACE Multi-Modal Manifest and ACE Entry Summary will go offline between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM EST, Saturday June 6th and will be brought back online no later than 5:00 AM EST, Sunday June 7th.

CBP will issue follow-up CSMS messages when the various components of ACS and ACE are brought online.

USER SUPPORT

1. For Air Manifest technical support during normal working hours, filers should contact their Client Rep.
2. For emergency issues outside of normal business hours, filers should contact the CBP Help Desk at 866-530-4172 and explain that they are calling with an Air Manifest emergency issue. They will be routed to the War Room, which will be staffed by Office of Field Operations Representatives, Client Reps, and Technical Subject Matter Experts 24 hours a day for the week following the June 6th -7th cutover.
3. For non-emergency issues outside of normal business hours, trade representatives should email aceservicecenter@cbp.dhs.gov. This inbox will be monitored by the Air Manifest team for 5 days prior to and 45 days following deployment.

During the first week of go live for ACE Air Manifest, CBP will have onsite support for the following ports:
• Louisville
• Memphis
• Cincinnati
• New York
• Los Angeles
• Miami
• Chicago
• San Francisco

All other ports will be supported by a 24/7 war room staffed for immediate response of any issues or questions from the port the first week of air manifest roll out as the system of record.
