There will be two emergency deployments tonight, June 19, 2015 to fix the duplicate messages and the multiply messages generating to the trade.
The first fix will address the duplicate 1C/1Fs sent to the same Originator due to the same party being associated with multiple roles for a given Airway BOL (such as both the originating carrier and agent). This fix is scheduled to be deployed non-invasively at 5 PM EST and will last up to two hours (7 PM EST) and could result in a 15 or 20 minute delay in Air EDI messages.
The second fix will address the larger volume of duplicate notifications being sent to the same party due to “looping” in the internal processing of notifications when a Master BOL comes on file, is in progress with updating the associated House BOLs, and then the corresponding FDM is also received and concurrently starts to trigger notifications to the trade. This fix is still being coded and tested and is anticipated to be deployed later tonight. This also will be a non-invasive deployment and will be of a shorter duration than the first.
ACE will also deploy a series of fixes in the normal outage window on Saturday at 10 PM EST to Sunday at 4 AM EST. It will consist of the fixes identified on the attached spreadsheet.
