Please be advised that there will be an ACE PRODUCTION outage on Saturday, October 31, 2015 starting at 2200PM ET and ending Sunday, November 01, 2015 at 0400AM ET.

This deployment will impact ACE Entry Summary and ACE Cargo Release processing.

ACE Deployment to ACE Production for Cargo Release, ITDS PGA, and Manifest

Cargo Release:
Deploy cargo release code to production ACE system for Importer on National Sanction List, 1USG Functionality, and Partial Expedited Release Functionality.

CIP-726 (Importer on National Sanction List)
On 10/31/15, a deployment of functionality will occur to support requirements for National Sanction List. As a general rule, National Sanction List requirements mandate filing of a live entry. That is, entry/entry summary with full payment of duties, taxes, and fees prior to release of cargo. ACE Cargo Release entries filed without a fully paid entry summary on file will receive a rejection and require resubmission after a fully paid entry summary is on file. This applies to lone ACE Cargo Release filings and ACE Cargo Release transactions as a result of Certified from Summary filings.

SE-6607 (1USG Message)
On 10/31/15, in support of the Single Window Initiative, a deployment of functionality will occur for the “ONE USG” entry status notification. This status notification indicates a CBP entry has a released status and applicable PGA requirements on a given entry have all received a “May Proceed” status. “ONE USG” message is an entry level status message and not mandatory for release of cargo since PGA's commonly conduct reviews after a 1C disposition code is sent to the carrier.

CIP-404 (Expedited Release)
On 10/31/2015, ACE Cargo Release will deploy functionality to support Expedited Release programs (Line Release & BRASS). This deployment makes no change in how carriers transmit manifest data for cargo release. In addition, current XR messaging to filers will continue as it exists today. With this deployment, Trade has the ability to file ACE Entry Summaries as a result of Expedited Release transactions.

ITDS:
Implement new ITDS PGA Message Set data processing capabilities; implement updated PGA business rules for PGAs including NHTSA, ATF, and EPA; implement enhancements to the FDA Prior Notice data processing; implement user interface changes.
