Attention All EDI/VPN Filers of the AESDirect System…
1. Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) has been added as a transition option and guidelines have been provided on the Census transition site. The SFTP is currently available for testing in the certification region. SFTP will be deployed to production on April 9, 2016.
2. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has provided revised guidelines for the EDI/VPN transition. Please review the current guidelines (http://www.census.gov/foreign-trade/aes/aesdirect/VPN_Solutions.pdf?eml=gd&utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery) and the broadcast message pertaining to this transition. 3. The transition timeline for EDI and VPN filers ONLY has been extended to May 20, 2016.
