Please be advised that there will be an ACE PRODUCTION Cargo Release deployment on Thursday morning, April 21, 2016, starting at 0600 ET.

The deployment is expected to take approximately 30 minutes, and will impact ACE Cargo Release and ACE Entry Summary processing.

The following has been deployed to ACE CERTIFICATION and will be deployed to ACE PRODUCTION Thursday morning:

• SE-7362: Even if Non-AMS indicator is set to “Y”, the bill # should be checked to ensure it hasn’t been posted to manifest by a carrier. If the bill is in fact manifested, the SE will be rejected if the “Y” is selected.

• SE-7461, SE-7542: Cargo Release SO messaging for Holds and Under CBP Review

**Manifest Hold or Intensive Exam status messages should not be sent any earlier than the variable release window, regardless of MOT:
Air - Departure, if flight departure message received. Otherwise, upon receipt of arrival message
Ocean - Departure message received and 5 days from EDA
Rail Northern - En route message received
Rail Southern - Arrival message received
Truck - Arrival message received

**"Under CBP Review" should be sent as follows:
Air - No earlier than departure message received
Ocean - No earlier than departure message received
Rail Northern - No earlier than en route message received
Rail Southern - Never sent
Truck - Never sent

**Document Required message can be sent at any point of time.

• SE-7393: Update notifications for manual release (truck)

• SE-7570: SO messaging for Notes function
- External/Public notes will go out to the filer via an SO message.

DEPLOYMENT SUMMARY
------------------
• If cargo/entry is within the variable release window and there is a manifest hold:

o SO60 will include UNDER CBP REVIEW

o SO50 will include one of the below Manifest Hold dispositions if the hold category is known:

 51 MANIFEST HOLD CBP
 52 MANIFEST HOLD AGRICULTURE
 53 CBP HOLD

o If the hold category is not known (one of the three listed above) there will not be an SO50 with manifest hold information.

• If cargo/entry is within the variable release window and the entry status is intensive:

o SO60 will include the below disposition:

 03 PENDING INTENSIVE EXAM

o Manifest will also receive intensive exam status messaging

NOTE:

• Currently, in advance of this deployment, if entry status was intensive and cargo had NOT departed, an SO60 with “UNDER CBP REVIEW” was sent. Cargo Release will no longer send “UNDER CBP REVIEW” in this scenario.

• SO60 Document Required entry status messages will be sent to manifest and filer at any point of time, just as soon as they occur.

• There is a bug in the current production code where “UNDER CBP REVIEW”, Manifest Hold, and/or Intensive Exam information is NOT being sent appropriately in SO messages. This bug will be fixed with the deployment on 4/21.

• Before the variable release window, manifest (carrier) will not receive intensive exam status messaging.

• Cargo Release has the following backlog stories:

 --Discontinue use of “UNDER CBP REVIEW” in SO60 messaging (will consult with Client Reps).
 --Ensure all SO50 manifest hold messaging includes the specific manifest hold type; Currently there are certain manifest hold types we don’t correctly identify and message.
