The Document Image System (DIS) is transitioning to only one email box (docs@cbp.dhs.gov) and one format for most email submissions to DIS. Please review the DIS Implementation Guide on cbp.gov for proper email box, format, document codes, and document labels. Beginning May 28, 2016, Trade participants will no longer be allowed to submit emails to the following emails boxes: CEE-DOCUMENT-SUBMISSION@cbp.dhs.gov and SimplfiedEntryDocs@cbp.dhs.gov.
If documents are submitted to inactive email boxes, the following error message will be received: This email box is no longer active. Please submit email to docs@cbp.dhs.gov. For the correct format, document codes, and document labels, please refer to the DIS Implementation Guide on cbp.gov.
If non-conforming email formats are submitted to docs@cbp.dhs.gov, the following error message will be received: Message rejected. For the correct format, document codes and document labels, please refer to the DIS Implementation Guide on cbp.gov.
*****NOTE: There are a few exceptions. The process and procedures will remain the same for those submitting to the following email boxes: ACE_STB, ISF_BOND, and EXPORT_MANIFEST.
